Description:
The CD-T100 has several special features. It is unique in appearance and is the first tube HDCD player. It is fitted with an elegant top loading drive unit, the entire drive system housing (PHILLIPS 1201 bare head) is custom-made of heavy aluminum alloy and an improved CD7 II servo circuitry is used. Four separate metal shields are fitted to the analog/digital filter and tube power modules. The high quality Pacific Microsonics PMD 200 HDCD processor chip, Crystal CS8420 sample rate converter chip, OPA 2604 high fidelity amplifier as well as four Burr Brown PCM 1704 D/A chips ensure the premium quality of the digital circuitry.
The analog circuitry is built around the 6N3 vacuum tube for both the line and headphone outputs. The combination of 24bit/96kHz
upsampling and tube technology gives music playback on the CD-T100 a very natural quality.
A combination of art and technology make this unit an extraordinarily elegant piece of high end equipment.
